Conditions of Use
The Personality Mandala Research Project allows you to join the Project and make personal use of the Project’s Website. You should be 18 or over to join. You should allow the Website to store your username, email address, mobile phone number and private password in the Database to recognise you when you log in to the Site. You should also allow the Website to use Strictly Necessary Cookies to enable you to navigate the Site. Your Membership allows you to use the Discovery Level of the Website. Access to the Discovery Level is free, and lasts for a year, and renews for another year every time you log in to the Site. The Discovery Level allows you to create and manage your Personal Membership Account; complete the Personality Type Indicator; complete the Anonymous Demographic Research Questionnaire; receive your Personality Type Indication Document; and use the learning resources in the Discovery Level’s Learning Lounge. If you want the Website to calculate your Personality Type Indication, you must complete all of the Assessments in the Personality Type Indicator. In return for your Personality Type Indication, the Research Project asks you to do two things: 1. You should complete the Anonymous Demographic Research Questionnaire; 2. You should give the Project the right to combine your anonymous demographic responses with your anonymous sub-totals and overall totals of your Type Indication. The Project combines your demographic responses with your Indication results anonymously to do independent research into Analytical Psychology’s type-theory of personality. If you want the Website to produce your Personality Type Indication Document for you, you must complete all of the questions in the Anonymous Demographic Research Questionnaire. To protect the validity of the Project’s research, you should have only one Personal Membership Account, one Personality Type Indication and one complete set of Anonymous Demographic Responses in the Database. You accept these Terms of Use whenever you use The Personality Mandala Research Project Website and Database.
Responsibility
The Personality Mandala Research Project based the Type Indicator and Type Indication on Analytical Psychology’s type-theory of personality. Swiss psychiatrist Carl Gustav Jung explained this theory of personality in his book Psychological Types in 1923. You are responsible for any decisions which you make as a result of completing The Personality Mandala Type Indicator or receiving your Personality Type Indication from The Personality Mandala Research Project Website. The Research Project recommends that you take professional advice before you make any decisions which affect the circumstances of your life.
License and Site Access
The Personality Mandala Research Project gives you a limited license to join the Project and use the Discovery Level of the Project’s Website. You should use the Website for personal growth and development only. You may not copy, download, alter, translate, store, distribute, publish, trade, teach or do research with any aspect of the Website beyond the permission for personal growth and development which the Project gives to you, unless SCPublishing gives you a written license to do so.
User Account
The Personality Mandala Research Project gives you permission to join the Project and use the Discovery Level of the Website. When you create your Personal Membership Account, you are responsible for protecting the confidentiality of your personal information, such as your username, email address, mobile phone number, and private password, on your side of any interaction you have with the Website. You also become responsible for all the activities which occur on the Website under your personal information, including providing false information, creating false accounts, and misusing the Personality Type Indicator or the Anonymous Demographic Research Questionnaire. If you ask the Website to email a copy of your Personality Type Indication to you, then you are responsible for keeping that Type Indication and that Type Indication Email private and secure. If you share your Type Indication with anyone else, such as on your Dashboard on the Website or in your Type Indication Email, then you are responsible for whatever happens as a result of that sharing. If you do not follow these Terms of Use, the Research Project has the right to stop you from using this Website.
Communication
All your communication with The Personality Mandala Research Project Website is electronic. When you create a Personal Membership Account, complete the Personality Type Indicator and the Anonymous Demographic Research Questionnaire, ask for your Type Indication in an email, visit the Website’s Learning Lounge, Invite a Friend or Update Your Personal Information, you are communicating electronically with the Research Project Website. As a result, you give the Website permission to send you electronic communications in return. These electronic communications include an Email Address Verification Email, a Personal Membership Account Confirmation Email, a Personality Type Indication Email, any Personal Account Update Confirmation Emails and any Updates to Terms of Use or Policy Emails. If you Invite a Friend to the Website, you give the Website permission to email that Friend an Invitation under your Account. The Research Project should not store your Friend’s email address. The Project should not send you any additional links to the Site or ask you for any identifying information beyond the facts which you provide to create your Personal Membership Account. You also agree that all electronic communications which the Project sends to you meet the legal requirements that the Project should always communicate with you in writing.
Applicable Law
SCPublishing is based in the United Kingdom (UK) and so the laws of the United Kingdom govern The Personality Mandala Research Project Website and Database.
